The platform provides account and workspace services alongside apps for specific work. The currently published apps can be explored from Apps and plans. That offering can change over time; a listed offer does not activate an app or grant access.
This article explains how apps relate to a workspace. Each app has its own detailed help inside the app, reachable from its sidebar.
Apps inside a workspace
A workspace may use several apps, depending on the current offering, what has been activated, and the signed-in user's access. My apps shows the app status and available next steps for the current account and workspace, including owned licenses, bundle access, and shared access. To browse current offers, open Apps and plans. Each app keeps its own data separate from other apps and may have its own plan, limits, and per-user access rules.
Switching apps doesn't change which workspace you're in. Switching workspaces doesn't by itself cancel app subscriptions.
Who can activate what
Only the workspace Owner can activate a new app on the workspace. Workspace Admins cannot. This is to keep billing decisions concentrated on the user the platform recognises as the owner.
Where to find your apps
- My apps — see the current account and workspace's app status and available next steps, including owned licenses, bundle access, and shared access. Use Apps and plans to browse published offers.
- The app's own sidebar — once you're inside an app, its navigation takes over. The profile menu top-right still gets you back to platform-level pages.
Plans and app licenses
Each app has its own plan and limits, but the app license belongs to the owner account, not to one workspace. Buying or subscribing to an app once lets the owner activate that same app in every workspace they own without buying it again. Therefore:
- One app license has one effective plan across all of its owned-workspace activations.
- Different apps can use different plans.
- Upgrading one app does not upgrade any other app or the workspace plan.
- Every workspace still keeps its app data and member access isolated.
Manage account-owned app access from My apps using the available next steps. Browse current offers from Apps and plans. The workspace plan is a separate platform subscription that controls workspace and team capacity.
App lifecycle: Activate, Cancel, Resume
The platform exposes three actions for an app on a workspace:
- Activate — make an account-owned app license available in an owned workspace. Only the workspace Owner can do this.
- Cancel — stop renewal of the account-owned app subscription. The change applies to every owned workspace where that license is activated. Data stays intact and eligible Free or permanent fallback access applies after the paid period.
- Resume — bring back a previously cancelled subscription. The data was never removed, so everything is where you left it.
This is intentional: the data of an activated app does not disappear behind a single click. If you need an app's data removed from a workspace, write to support@zendrhax.com.
Web app + native clients
Every app is available as a web app — accessed from My apps inside the workspace. Some apps also ship with native clients for Android, iOS and Windows that connect to the same account and operate on the same workspace data.
What's common across both surfaces:
- The same login and 2FA. Sign-in carries you to whichever workspaces you belong to.
- The same data. There is no separate "mobile data" — the native client reads and writes through the same APIs the web app uses.
- The same plan and quotas. The native client respects the plan on the account-owned app license and the workspace-specific data remains isolated.
Activation happens on the web (My apps). Once an app is active on a workspace, the native client picks it up automatically on the next sign-in there.
When an active app is published on Google Play, its My apps card shows Mobile app and an Install native app action. That action opens the app detail page at the Google Play section. The store badge is the only Android installation option shown to customers on the web; direct installer files remain private for authenticated native updates.
What's next
- Browse current app offers — open Apps and plans.
- Activate an app on a workspace — open My apps and follow the activation option available to the workspace Owner.
- Grant team access to an app — decide who in your workspace can see and use each app.
Help without leaving your screen
On an authenticated platform page, use Help for this page to open a guide over the screen you are currently using. The guide first explains the purpose of that exact page and then follows its visible sections in order, including what each section does and how to use it. Closing the guide returns you to the same place without losing your work.
The Invoices and Cleaning apps use the same approach through the question-mark button in their headers. Their guides are stored in the app, work with the selected language, and remain available when the device temporarily has no connection.
